The Object

Lightset in motion

The Worsted Chandelier runs crystal-glass shades along a frame of curving metal — so the form reads as movement first, light second. Each shade rises above the structure like a lit taper, catching the eye from every angle. By evening it pools an even, layered glow across the room below.
Why you'll love it
  • Sculptural metalwork — a flowing frame that reads as movement
  • Crystal or acrylic shades that rise like lit tapers
  • Round or linear, 12 to 32 heads — scaled to your room
  • Gold or silver finish, built from solid metal to last
  • Replaceable G4 LEDs, dimmable on request, 90–260V
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the form

A frame that moveslight that follows

The metal framework is drawn in undulating lines, so the whole fixture seems to flow rather than sit still. Crystal-inspired shades climb above it, breaking the light into depth and refinement. Lit, the structure and the glow read as one continuous gesture overhead.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three reasons it works as well as it reads.
Modern, classic

A metallic frame in gold or silver pairs with crystal shades — contemporary lines, lasting appeal.

Versatile presence

At home over a living room or dining table, it carries a room without crowding it.

Made for gathering

Its dramatic scale sets the mood for dinners and celebrations that run long into the evening.

Design statement

Lightdrawn as movement

Most chandeliers stand still. The Worsted flows — its metal framework curves and rises so the form feels caught mid-motion, the shades lifting above it like lit tapers. Unlit it reads as sculpture; lit, it turns a room into something with depth and atmosphere.

Frequently asked

The Worsted is built from iron with crystal or acrylic shades. The metal carries the flowing frame, while the shades break the light into a soft, layered glow overhead.

It can, but as a hardwired ceiling fixture with real weight, we recommend a licensed electrician. A professional will set the drop, secure the mount, and get the wiring right and safe.

Yes. The mounting hardware is included, but for a secure, level fit and a safe connection we recommend a licensed electrician — especially given the chandelier's size and weight.

The LEDs are rated to around 50,000 hours — years of regular use. Because they're removable, you can swap in your preferred colour temperature whenever you like.

It runs on a wide 90–260V range, so it works with standard household electrical in most countries without a converter, delivering even, bright light throughout the room.

Once it's hardwired to your ceiling and switched on, it works from your wall switch. Pair it with dimmable LED bulbs and an LED-compatible dimmer to set the level you want.

Yes. The flowing metal frame and crystal shades sit easily in modern rooms, while the warmth of the glow and the gold or silver finish suit classic and traditional spaces too.

Yes — the ceiling plate, brackets, and fixings are all included, so it arrives ready to wire in. We still recommend a licensed electrician handle the connection.

The metallic frame in gold or silver reads as contemporary, while the crystal-inspired shades lend a classic warmth. Together they make a piece that feels current yet familiar.

Yes. Its sculptural form and scale make it a natural centrepiece — over a dining table, anchoring a living room, or lifting a tall entryway where the shades are seen from below.
