The Object

Lit from withintwo rings of glass

The Stintino stacks two tiers of hand-raked glass panels around an iron frame, so the light doesn't come from a single point — it radiates through dozens of vertical rods at once. Each panel is individually raked, meaning the surface catches the glow differently from every angle. Hang it in a dining room or entryway and the light it gives feels settled, never harsh.
Why you'll love it
  • Hand-raked glass panels — each one individually worked, no two alike
  • Two-tier silhouette reads as sculpture even unlit
  • Soft, diffused glow — no glare, just ambient warmth
  • Four sizes from D56 cm to D152 cm to suit the room
  • Replaceable E14 LEDs — wide voltage 90–260V
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the glass

Raked by handlight bends through every rod

Each glass panel is drawn and raked individually before assembly, so its surface carries a fine texture that refracts the light rather than simply transmitting it. Arranged in vertical rows around each tier, the panels form a continuous halo — every panel bending the glow in a slightly different direction. The result shifts subtly as you move around the room.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three things that make it work.
Hand-raked

Each glass panel is individually worked, giving its surface a texture that catches and bends the light.

Two tiers

The layered silhouette gives the fixture visual depth, balanced and substantial from any angle.

Soft diffusion

Light travels through each rod and arrives in the room as a warm, even ambient glow without hotspots.

Design statement

Two ringsdrawn in glass

Most chandeliers concentrate light at a point. The Stintino distributes it — two stacked rings of vertical glass panels each bend and refract the glow from within, so the whole fixture becomes a source. Unlit, it reads as a layered sculpture; lit, it fills the room rather than aims at it.

Frequently asked

The Stintino Chandelier ships free worldwide and typically arrives within 15–21 business days. We'll send tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Yes. Given its weight and hardwired installation, we recommend a certified electrician for the Stintino Chandelier. All mounting hardware is included in the box.

Each glass panel is raked by hand before assembly, leaving a fine surface texture that refracts light differently from every angle. No two panels are identical, so the Stintino Chandelier has a quiet variation across its full surface.

Yes. The raked surface of each glass rod bends the glow in slightly different directions, so the pattern shifts as you move around the room — never static, always warm.

The two tiers of glass diffuse the bulbs into a broad, even halo rather than direct downlight. The Stintino Chandelier fills the room with soft, layered warmth that invites you to slow down.

The design draws on the proportions and glass-work of mid-century Italian fixtures — two tiers, vertical panels, warm diffusion — but reads as contemporary in any modern or transitional room.

The glass tiers earn their keep as a lighting source — spreading a useful ambient glow — while the layered silhouette serves as a centrepiece even when the light is off.

Yes. The iron structure is finished in antiqued brass, matte black, or polished nickel and holds each glass tier precisely in place. It's built to last without flex or movement at the joints.

It does — the ribbed glass panels project gentle, irregular halos onto walls and ceilings, shifting slightly as ambient light in the room changes.

Its clean iron frame and diffused glass panels sit comfortably in modern, Scandi, and transitional rooms. The three finish options — brass, black, nickel — let it anchor without competing.
