The Sommerach is made from iron and glass — an iron structural frame with a warm wood-tone finish and glass globes that diffuse the G9 LED output into a soft, even glow.
Yes — the Sommerach uses seven G9 LED bulbs, all included. G9 is a widely available base, so replacements are easy to source whenever needed.
The Sommerach operates on 90–260V AC — compatible with electrical standards in the US, UK, EU, Australia, and most other regions. No converter needed.
Dimming is available on request. Specify when ordering and we'll configure the Sommerach for use with a compatible wall dimmer switch.
The Sommerach can be oriented horizontally (over a dining table or island) or vertically (down a staircase or in a double-height space), in two lengths: 80 cm and 120 cm.
The Sommerach comes with a wood-tone iron finish — a warm neutral that complements natural material palettes and sits well against white, cream, or grey walls.
The glass orbs emit a soft, warm ambient glow. The G9 bulbs are available in warm white (2700–3000K) — contact us if you'd prefer a cooler tone.
The cord extends up to 1.5 m, giving you flexibility in high-ceilinged rooms or stairwells where a longer drop is needed to position the orbs at the right visual height.
The Sommerach works in dining rooms (horizontal over a table), living rooms, staircases (vertical), and double-height entryways. It is for indoor use only.
The Sommerach is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box. We recommend installation by a certified electrician, particularly for the vertical staircase configuration.
