The Object

Faceted crystalarranged by you

The Mitre Chandelier starts as a blank copper ceiling plate and a count of faceted crystal pendants — you decide the composition. Round, square, or rectangular canopy; as few or as many pendants as the room wants; each cord independently adjustable for a flat plane, a cascade, or something between. Each crystal pendant is precision-cut to refract the LED into a spread of directional reflections across walls and ceilings. Brass or chrome finish.
Why you'll love it
  • Fully configurable — pendant count, canopy shape, and drop length
  • Faceted crystal refracts light into dynamic wall reflections
  • Round, square, or rectangular ceiling plates — seven sizes each
  • Copper construction, brass or chrome finish
  • Dimmable on request — sloped-ceiling compatible
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the detail

Each crystal faceta separate lens for the light

The precision-cut facets on each pendant don't diffuse the LED — they redirect it. Each face catches the source and projects a sharp, angled reflection onto nearby surfaces, so the fixture generates more light events than it has pendants. Adjust the drop heights and the pattern shifts entirely.

Your design

Pick the canopy, the pendant count, and individual drop lengths — no two are the same.

Crystal refracts

Faceted surfaces scatter directed reflections across walls and ceilings, not just downward.

Frequently asked

Dining rooms and entryways are the natural home — spaces with height and a clear sight line to the ceiling. Stairwells work especially well, where you can vary drop lengths across levels.

Yes — pendant quantity, canopy shape, and individual cord lengths are all configurable. Tell us your ceiling dimensions and we'll suggest a pendant count and drop layout for the space.

Choose a canopy diameter roughly equal to a third of the room's shortest dimension. For a dining table, match the canopy width to the table width as a starting point, then adjust for pendant count.

Round suits square rooms and circular tables. Rectangular suits long tables, kitchen islands, and corridors. Square bridges both — a clean geometric form that works across most layouts.

A rule of thumb: one pendant per roughly 0.3 m² of canopy area gives a full, layered look. Fewer pendants read as more minimal — contact our team and we'll help you map it out.

Yes — cord lengths are adjustable on request. Specify whether you want a flat plane, a graduated cascade, or a freeform arrangement when you place your order.

Hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box. Sloped-ceiling compatible. The canopy covers the box; pendant cords feed through. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended.

Yes — the copper-and-crystal combination reads well in hospitality, retail, and office reception contexts. Larger canopy sizes and higher pendant counts suit double-height commercial ceilings.

Both, depending on pendant count and colour temperature. Fewer pendants create a warm ambient centrepiece; higher counts raise the functional light level significantly. Dimming on request extends the range.

Yes, on request — specify when ordering and we'll configure the fixture for dimmer compatibility. Standard delivery is non-dimming unless requested.
