Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Each bird form is built from individual pieces of coloured glass set in a metal leading — the Tiffany technique that turns a shade into a mosaic of tinted light. What is the shipping timeframe?

All Nava Decor orders ship free worldwide. Delivery typically takes 15–21 business days from dispatch. A tracking number is emailed once your order leaves our warehouse.

Is installation hardware included?

Yes — the ceiling canopy, mounting bracket, chain, and all required hardware are included. LED E27 bulbs are also provided. A certified electrician is recommended for the hardwired connection.

What materials is it made from?

The frame is metal finished in gold. The bird shades are hand-assembled coloured glass — each piece is individually set in metal leading in the Tiffany style, not painted or printed.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Dust the glass shades monthly with a soft dry brush or cloth. For deeper cleaning, wipe each glass panel with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the leading.

Can it be used with a dimmer switch?

Yes, on request — specify dimmer compatibility at checkout and we'll configure the E27 sockets accordingly. Standard E27 dimmable LEDs also work if you have an existing compatible wall dimmer.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No — this is an indoor ceiling chandelier, not rated for outdoor or damp locations. It's designed for dining rooms, living rooms, and hospitality interiors with dry conditions.

What is the return policy?

Nava Decor offers 14-day returns from delivery. Items must be in original, undamaged condition. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate a return.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes — a 1-year warranty is included with every order. Extended coverage for 2, 3, or 5 years is available on request. Contact us before or after purchase to arrange an extension.

How much energy does it consume?

60W for the 6-bird versions, 80W for 8-bird, and 120W for the 12-bird. With LED bulbs, this is the total system draw — considerably less than equivalent incandescent sources at the same lumen output.

Are replacement parts available?

The E27 bulbs are standard and widely available — replace any individual lamp without touching the fixture. For glass shade replacements, contact us directly and we'll advise on availability.
