The Congestus mounts to a standard ceiling junction box — the canopy covers the electrical connection and the fixture hangs flush to the ceiling. All mounting hardware is included; a certified electrician should make the electrical connection.
Yes — it hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box rather than plugging into a wall socket. It operates on 90–260V AC, compatible with residential supply in Europe, North America, and most global markets.
The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours — at four hours a day that's over 34 years, well past when the room's purpose will likely change. There are no replaceable bulbs; the LED is built into the fitting.
It's designed primarily as a ceiling mount. The flush-mount canopy and the way the arms spread horizontally make ceiling installation the intended configuration. Wall mounting isn't part of the design intent.
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for products in original, uninstalled condition. If the fixture arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we'll arrange a replacement or full refund immediately — just get in touch with your order details.
Yes — ceiling canopy, mounting bracket, screws, and all wiring hardware are included in the box. The only thing you'll need is a ceiling junction box at the installation point and a certified electrician to connect it.
Yes — the Congestus meets CE, UL, RoHS, and multiple other international safety certifications. The acrylic diffusers are non-toxic and the integrated LED runs cool enough that the fixture doesn't heat up dangerously during normal use.
The two sizes output 5,940 lm (54W, 52 cm) and 4,510 lm (41W, 60 cm) respectively — both comfortably bright enough for play and homework. Dimming is available on request if you want to reduce the output for bedtime.
The physical mounting is straightforward, but the electrical connection to your ceiling junction box should be handled by a certified electrician. This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in, so a proper mains connection is required.
