The rings are cut from natural alabaster calcite — a translucent stone — mounted on a copper frame with a satin nickel finish, and suspended from slender precision steel cables.

Alabaster calcite is a natural stone — it doesn't crack under normal conditions but should not be struck or placed under impact stress. The polished surface is resistant to everyday dust and is wiped clean with a dry cloth.

Use a soft, dry cloth on the stone surface — no water or chemical cleaners on the calcite. The metal frame can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth. Switch off and allow to cool before cleaning.
A single 80 cm ring suits a dining table for four to six; a 100–120 cm works for larger tables or open-plan spaces. Two- and three-tier configurations are best in rooms with 3 m+ ceilings and open volumes.
