The Object

Set flushnothing visible but the beam

The Cahagnolles disappears into the plaster: no visible trim ring, just a deep-set black reflector flush with the ceiling. The Bridgelux COB source sits recessed behind it, so glare is minimal and the beam stays focused. Choose from four angles — 15°, 24°, 36°, or 55° — and four wattages to match what the room needs. CRI above 90Ra, 50,000-hour rated LED.
Why you'll love it
  • Trimless — only the black reflector shows at the ceiling
  • Deep-set design keeps glare low and beam focused
  • Four beam angles — 15°, 24°, 36°, 55°
  • Four wattages — 8W, 14W, 18W, 24W
  • 50,000-hour Bridgelux COB LED, CRI >90

How it works

Recessed deepglare stays in the housing

The COB source sits far enough behind the black reflector that the light is shaped before it leaves the fixture. The trimless perforated frame plasters flush to the ceiling, leaving no visible boundary between lamp and surface — just the beam, emerging cleanly.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Trimless finish

The concealed perforated frame plasters into the ceiling — no ring, no lip, no break in the surface.

Controlled beam

Four beam angles let you pinpoint a feature, wash a wall, or flood an area with the same housing.

High CRI

CRI above 90Ra — colours read true and materials look as they should under the light.

Frequently asked

The housing and trim are aluminium; the deep-set reflector is a moulded plastic component. The aluminium construction keeps the fixture light and dissipates heat efficiently from the COB LED source.

Four: 8W (880 lm), 14W (1540 lm), 18W (1980 lm), and 24W (2640 lm). Choose lower wattages for accent or bedside use; higher wattages for work areas or rooms where the downlight is the primary source.

Yes — the Bridgelux COB integrated LED is built into the fixture. There is no separate bulb to purchase or install; the LED is rated for 50,000 hours before any meaningful loss of output.

The Cahagnolles runs on AC 120–277V, covering North American (120V), European (230V), and most commercial building supplies. No transformer or adapter is required in standard residential or commercial installations.

IP20 means the fixture is protected against solid objects larger than 12 mm — fingers and similar — but not against moisture or water ingress. It is suitable for dry indoor spaces: living rooms, offices, hallways, and galleries, but not bathrooms or outdoor soffits.

Four: 15°, 24°, 36°, and 55°. A 15° beam is a tight accent for artwork or a feature wall; 24° works for table or display lighting; 36° is a good general-purpose spread; 55° produces a wide ambient wash for open areas.

No — the IP20 rating provides no protection against moisture. For covered outdoor soffits or bathroom use, you would need a fixture rated IP44 or higher. The Cahagnolles is strictly for dry indoor installation.

Yes — the deep-set reflector positions the COB source well behind the aperture, so the source itself is not visible from normal viewing angles. The black reflector absorbs stray light, keeping the beam defined and reducing peripheral glare.

The trimless format: the perforated frame is designed to plaster in, leaving no visible trim ring at the ceiling surface. Once installed and decorated, only the deep black reflector and the beam are visible — a genuinely seamless architectural finish.

Cut the specified aperture in the ceiling, push the spring-clip housing into the recess, and connect to a hardwired supply. The trimless variant requires the frame to be set before the final plaster coat. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended.
