The Object

Cast in ironlit by filament

The Burgum Chandelier is built from robust angle iron in a shape that references early twentieth-century workshops: open, structural, nothing hidden. Filament bulbs sit in rows across the frame, each one casting a warm, amber glow that deepens as the room grows darker. Five sizes from 66 cm to 185 cm across — the largest becomes the room.
Why you'll love it
  • Five sizes up to 185 cm — scales from dining nook to grand hall
  • Warm filament bulbs cast an amber, ambient glow
  • Solid angle-iron frame — built to outlast the ceiling it hangs from
  • Vintage brass or matte black, to match any interior
  • Replaceable E12 LEDs — up to 36 bulbs on the largest size
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The structure

Iron drawn openthe bulbs do the rest

Angle iron was never meant to be decorative — the Burgum borrows that industrial bluntness and makes it the point. The frame stays open so the filament bulbs read clearly, warm and unobstructed. In brass it leans traditional; in matte black it reads graphic and sharp.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three things worth knowing about the Burgum.
Warm glow

Filament bulbs throw a rich amber light that warms a room rather than flooding it.

Five sizes

From 66 cm to 185 cm wide — choose the scale your room demands.

Iron frame

Angle iron construction — solid, no-nonsense, and built to last for decades.

Design statement

Iron kept honestlight kept warm

The Burgum starts with a building material — angle iron — and refuses to dress it up. What results is a chandelier that feels earned rather than decorated: a rigid geometric frame holding rows of filament bulbs that glow amber and steady, the kind of light that makes a room feel used and alive.

Frequently asked

The Burgum hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box via a ceiling canopy. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended. The chain adjusts to 30 cm; sloped-ceiling compatibility is available on request.

The frame is solid angle iron, finished in vintage brass or matte black. Bulb holders are metal. There's no plastic in the structural parts — it's built to feel as solid as it looks.

The Burgum draws on early twentieth-century industrial design — open ironwork, exposed filament bulbs, unembellished shapes. It reads naturally in period homes, warehouse conversions, and any space that values honest materials over decoration.

Yes — all Nava Decor fixtures come with a 1-year warranty as standard, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years. Contact us before purchase to discuss the right cover for your space.

Filament LEDs cast a warm, amber-toned light that diffuses softly across a room. Because the frame is open, the glow comes from multiple points — creating depth and warmth rather than a single bright source overhead.

Yes. The Burgum runs on 90–260VAC and is certified to UL, CE, FCC, ROHS, and a range of other international standards, making it compatible with residential electrical systems worldwide.

Angle iron is an engineering material, not a decorative one — the Burgum is built to match. The finish resists everyday wear, and with replaceable E12 bulbs, there's nothing to discard if a bulb fails years from now.

Nava Decor offers a 14-day return window from delivery. Items must be in original, uninstalled condition. Contact our team and we'll guide you through the process.

The open iron frame and warm filament light work across a wide range — rustic dining rooms, bare-brick lofts, and even clean modern spaces that want one raw element. Both finishes are neutral enough to anchor rather than compete.

Very little. Wipe the iron frame with a dry cloth as needed. Bulbs are individually replaceable standard E12 LEDs — swap one when it fails without touching the rest of the fixture.
