Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The Belley ships free worldwide and arrives in 15–21 business days. For the larger 15- and 18-arm configurations, additional care packaging adds a day or two to dispatch — we'll confirm when your order is placed.

How easy is the installation process?

The Belley includes a mounting bracket, junction box, and all hardware. The physical assembly — hanging the crystal drops and connecting the arms — takes patience but no specialist skill. Electrical connection to your ceiling box should be done by a certified electrician.

What materials are used in this chandelier?

The drops are faceted green crystal; the frame is polished metal. Both are chosen for longevity — the crystal doesn't yellow with age and the metal frame is built to hold the weight of the drops across many years.

The included E14 LED bulbs are rated for 50,000 hours — roughly 17 years at eight hours a day. When a bulb does eventually need replacing, any standard E14 LED fits without needing to contact us.

90–260V AC — suitable for European, North American, Australian, and most other global electrical standards. No transformer or adapter needed for most residential installations worldwide.

Is it durable and long-lasting?

Yes — the polished metal frame is built for decades of use, and the crystal drops are faceted glass that resists yellowing and clouding. We back it with a one-year warranty, extendable to two or three years on request.

Can it be used in various rooms?

Absolutely — dining rooms, living rooms, foyers, and bedrooms all suit the Belley. The size range (6-arm at 55 cm up to 18-arm at 95 cm) lets you match the fixture to the scale of the room it's going into.
