Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The result is a layered glow that avoids both the harshness of exposed bulbs and the dullness of a fully diffused panel. The Belley ships worldwide free of charge. Typical delivery is 15–21 business days from dispatch. A tracking link is sent once the order leaves our warehouse.

Is professional installation required or can I install it myself?

We recommend a certified electrician for the ceiling connection — the Belley is hardwired. The fixture itself assembles straightforwardly, but the electrical work should be handled by a professional.

What materials are used in its construction?

Metal frame in blue, clear crystal drops, and fabric-covered shades on each head. The E14 LED bulbs are included. All materials are selected for visual impact and durability in normal indoor conditions.

Is it suitable for both modern and traditional decor?

The crystal-and-fabric combination reads well in traditional and transitional spaces; the blue metalwork gives it enough of an edge to work in contemporary rooms too. The six-head size is most adaptable across styles.

How energy-efficient is the lighting?

The E14 LED bulbs are efficient relative to incandescent alternatives — each head draws between 5W and 6W depending on configuration, far below an equivalent halogen. All bulbs are included.

How long does the light last?

The included LED E14 bulbs are rated at 50,000 hours. At four hours daily, that's over 34 years per bulb. When one eventually dims, any standard E14 LED is a direct replacement.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes — a 1-year warranty is included, covering manufacturing defects in the frame, crystal drops, and electrical components. Extended 2 or 3-year coverage is available on request.

Is it easy to clean and maintain?

Dust the crystal drops with a dry microfibre cloth or soft brush. The fabric shades can be cleaned lightly with a dry cloth — avoid moisture. The metal frame can be wiped with a barely damp cloth if needed.

Can it be used in multiple rooms like the living room and bedroom?

Yes — the six or eight-head sizes are proportioned for a bedroom or smaller dining room; the twelve to eighteen-head sizes suit larger living rooms or open-plan areas. Height is fixed at 30 cm cord, so ceiling height matters for sizing.
