We recommend it. The Bellegarde is hardwired — connecting it to your mains wiring is a job for a certified electrician, particularly if you're mounting it in a bathroom or kitchen circuit.
The body is solid copper with a gold finish. The shade is retro-cut crystal glass — chosen for how its facets refract and warm the LED output rather than simply diffusing it.
The LED is rated at 50,000 hours — roughly 17 years at 8 hours of use per day. It's replaceable when that time comes; a standard E14 base fits without any modification.
90–260V — compatible with standard household wiring worldwide. No converter or adapter is needed for most residential and commercial installations.
The Bellegarde is designed for indoor use — bedrooms, hallways, dining rooms, and kitchens in dry conditions. We don't recommend it for bathrooms or other high-humidity areas without checking the IP rating.
The Bellegarde supports a replaceable E14 bulb — so a dimmable E14 LED paired with a compatible wall dimmer switch will work. Check your dimmer's compatibility with LED loads before installing.
Wipe the copper body with a soft dry cloth. For the crystal shade, a lightly damp lint-free cloth removes dust without scratching the cut facets. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents on either surface.
