No — the Barbenta is rated for indoor use only. Outdoor moisture and temperature variation would compromise both the stone surface and the electrical components over time.
A dry cloth or soft brush removes dust from the stone surface. Avoid water or liquid cleaners directly on the travertine — wipe the metal mount with a damp cloth if needed and dry immediately.
It mounts on plasterboard, brick, and concrete walls with the included hardware. For masonry walls, you may need a suitable anchor bolt. Professional installation is recommended for the wiring.
A drill, spirit level, and screwdriver cover the mounting. The hardwired electrical connection should be handled by a certified electrician — all mounting hardware is included in the box.
At 1,650lm it can light a small to medium room at a comfortable ambient level, though it reads best as a feature light paired with other sources. Dimming on request lets you adjust the contribution it makes.
