The Barbenta mounts a disc of travertine to the wall and backlights it — the LED sits behind the stone rather than in front, so the natural textures of the travertine catch the glow and scatter it softly into the room. The cream-toned stone brings warmth even before the light turns on. At 30cm across, it reads as an object as much as a fixture.
