Stone carved smallwarm from within

The Auriol is black travertine, shaped into a dome or a cone — two forms, one material. Travertine is a dense, porous stone that shows its own surface variation: no two pieces look the same, and the texture reads differently under different light. Inside, the E27 LED glows warm and contained. Hang one alone or cluster several.
Why you'll love it
  • Black travertine — natural porous texture, every piece unique
  • Two forms: rounded dome or sleek conical shade
  • Warm, contained ambient glow from within
  • E27 socket — replaceable bulb, included
  • Dimmable on request · adjustable cord to 1.2 m
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the material

Travertinestone that reads the light

Travertine is porous and textured — unlike glass or metal, it holds the light rather than reflecting it. The black finish deepens the stone's natural grain, so the surface shifts from flat to dimensional depending on angle and distance. Warm light from the E27 inside completes it.

Natural stone

Black travertine — porous, textured, naturally variable. Each pendant is its own piece.

Two forms

Choose dome for softer, more expansive rooms; cone for bars, hallways, and tighter spaces.

Replaceable bulb

E27 socket takes any standard LED — warm white recommended; bulb included.

Frequently asked

Black travertine — a natural stone with a porous, textured surface. It's dense enough for a pendant, varied enough that no two pieces look exactly the same, and the black finish deepens the grain.

Yes — an E27 LED bulb is included. It's replaceable, so if you prefer a different colour temperature or output level, you can swap in any standard E27 LED without tools.

Warm, contained ambient light — the stone shade focuses the glow downward and inward, so the light pools beneath the pendant rather than spreading across the whole room. Good for dining tables and bar tops.

Dining rooms, kitchens, bars, cafes, and hallways all work well. It hangs from a standard ceiling junction box on a cord adjustable to 1.2 m. Sloped ceilings may need additional hardware.

E27 — the most common pendant bulb base. The included LED is warm white; you can replace it with any E27 LED to adjust colour temperature or brightness to suit the room.

It's a standard hardwired pendant — the canopy mounts to a ceiling junction box and the cord feeds through. A certified electrician should handle the wiring connection for safety.

90–260V, compatible with standard mains in most countries — UK, EU, North America, and Australia without an adaptor.

The E27 LED draws 15W to produce 1500 lm — comparable to a 100W incandescent at roughly 85% less energy. The bulb is replaceable so you can upgrade to a more efficient LED at any time.

Yes — the E27 socket takes any standard replaceable LED. When the included bulb reaches the end of its life, simply unscrew and replace. No specialist parts needed.

Yes — black travertine reads naturally in modern, industrial, rustic, and minimalist interiors. Both the dome and cone forms are versatile enough for residential and hospitality settings.
