Arms reach outglobes hold the light

The Astypalaia Chandelier curves iron arms outward from a central ring, each ending in a frosted glass globe. The frosting diffuses the LED inside — no visible filament, just a soft, even glow distributed across the room. In black or white, in 3, 5, 6, or 8 heads to match the scale of the space.
Why you'll love it
  • Frosted glass globes — soft, even light, no visible source
  • Sculptural iron arms — curved for visual depth
  • Four configurations — 3, 5, 6, or 8 heads
  • Matte black or white — two finishes
  • Replaceable LED bulbs — 90–220V, sloped-ceiling on request
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the form

Curved armsglobes in the air

Each arm curves in its own arc before arriving at the globe — the form reads as movement rather than a static ring. Frosted glass absorbs the source and returns it as an even wash, so the chandelier contributes ambient light without drawing attention to the mechanics of how it's made.

Frequently asked

Iron arms and frame, frosted glass globes. The iron is formed into curved arms finished in matte black or white; the glass shades are frosted to diffuse the LED light source evenly.

Replaceable LED bulbs — included with the fixture. When they eventually need replacing, standard LED bulbs in the correct base size will fit. No proprietary parts required.

Yes — the sculptural curved arms and frosted glass read well in contemporary, transitional, and Art Deco-influenced spaces. The clean matte finishes keep it from feeling ornate.

Dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, and entryways — sized by head count to suit the room. The 3-head suits a compact dining space; the 8-head fits larger rooms or double-height entries.

Yes — frosted glass diffuses the LED source across the interior of the globe, so the light that reaches the room is even and ambient. No direct beam, no visible filament.

90–220V AC. This covers most domestic supplies worldwide. If your supply falls outside this range, please contact us before ordering.

The iron frame is solid and finished to resist corrosion in indoor conditions. The frosted glass globes are sturdy for wall or ceiling mounting. With normal care, the fixture is built to last. A 1-year warranty is included, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years.

The chandelier is hardwired and ceiling-mounted — professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended. The chain adjusts to 30 cm; sloped-ceiling mounting is available on request.

Yes — bulbs are replaceable and included. When one eventually reaches end of life, a standard LED in the matching base size will serve as a direct replacement.

The curved arms create a sense of movement — each one traces a different arc from the central ring to the globe. It reads as sculptural overhead rather than a simple ring of lights, and the frosted glow adds presence without harshness.
