The Zeil is carved from natural yellow travertine — a sedimentary limestone with a warm beige tone and fine surface porosity that diffuses light in a way ceramic or plaster cannot.
The Zeil Wall Lamp uses an integrated LED light source. There is no external bulb socket — the LED is built in and ships ready to hardwire.
The Zeil mounts directly to the wall with standard hardware included. We recommend installation by a certified electrician, as it connects to mains wiring.
No. The Zeil Wall Lamp is designed for indoor use only. Natural travertine is sensitive to prolonged moisture exposure and is not rated for exterior installation.
At 7 W and 770 lm, the Zeil is an accent lamp — it adds warmth and texture to a space rather than serving as primary illumination. Pair with other light sources in larger rooms.
Wipe the travertine surface with a dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, which can mark the stone's natural surface over time.
Yes. Natural travertine carries its own veining, pore pattern, and tonal variation — every Zeil lamp will have a slightly different surface character from the next.
