Spherescarved from stone, lit within

The Wormer Chandelier suspends a collection of carved alabaster balls from a metal frame, so what you see from below is a cluster of glowing stone spheres rather than a conventional shade. Each ball is individually carved, carrying its own faint vein structure. When lit, the stone diffuses the G9 LED into a warm, even wash — soft in the way only natural stone can be.
Why you'll love it
  • Individually carved alabaster spheres — each uniquely veined
  • Light glows through stone — warm, layered, never direct
  • Metal frame at 60 cm width — a strong centrepiece
  • Replaceable G9 LEDs — standard fitting, bulbs included
  • Adjustable cord to 2 m — sloped-ceiling compatible
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Cut and finished

Each sphereits own vein, its own glow

Alabaster is a translucent form of gypsum: it carries light through the stone body rather than reflecting it off the surface. Each ball in the Wormer is carved individually and differs slightly in the pattern of its veining — which means the glow across the cluster is not uniform but softly varied, the way candlelight differs flame to flame.

Frequently asked

Yes — the Wormer runs on 90–260V, covering both North American and European mains. It is hardwired via a standard ceiling junction box. Confirm local voltage and junction-box capacity with your electrician before installation.

The Wormer ceiling-mounts to a standard junction box via the canopy; the cord adjusts to 2 m and the fixture is sloped-ceiling compatible. At 10 kg it benefits from two people during positioning. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended.

The spheres are carved from natural alabaster marble — a translucent stone that glows from within when lit. The frame and suspension hardware are metal. Both materials are chosen for their durability and the quality of the light they produce.

Yes — Nava includes a 1-year warranty with every Wormer Chandelier, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years on request. Contact us after purchase to add extended cover.

Wipe the metal frame with a dry cloth. Clean each alabaster ball with a soft, barely damp cloth — avoid soaking the stone, which can darken it. Do not use chemical cleaners on the alabaster; water only.

Yes — the cord adjusts to 2 m from the ceiling, giving a maximum drop of approximately 3.5 m to the bottom of the fixture. For higher ceilings, contact us before ordering to arrange an extended cord.

No — the Wormer is not configured for dimming as standard. The G9 LEDs included are non-dimmable. If you need dimming, contact us before ordering to discuss options.

Nava ships free worldwide — delivery is typically 15–21 business days from order confirmation. You will receive tracking once your Wormer dispatches.

Yes — the Wormer is hardwired and weighs 10 kg. A certified electrician should handle the mains connection and confirm the junction box is rated for the weight. Two people are recommended for ceiling positioning.

The major components arrive assembled — the frame, spheres, and canopy are pre-fitted. Installation involves connecting the canopy to the junction box, hanging the fixture, and fitting the included G9 bulbs. Full installation instructions are included in the box.
