Fabriccaught mid-fall in acrylic

The Wolvega Ceiling Light takes aluminium and acrylic and shapes them into something that reads more like gathered cloth than a fixture. Each arm curves and drops slightly, so the overall form has a softness unusual for metal. The gold finish pulls warm against the acrylic diffusers — 7 or 12 heads, integrated LEDs, sloped-ceiling compatible.
Why you'll love it
  • Acrylic panels shaped to suggest draped fabric — a soft, sculptural form
  • Gold-finished aluminium — temperature and fade resistant
  • 7 or 12 heads — 116W or 184W for large rooms
  • Integrated LED — warm, even output with no maintenance
  • Sloped-ceiling compatible — optional dimming available
Details

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

Good to know

  • Great for standard or low ceilings — hallways, bedrooms, closets.
  • Confirm your junction box can support the fixture's weight.
  • Follow local electrical codes.
  • When in doubt, bring in a licensed electrician.

On the build

Aluminium armsacrylic that falls like cloth

The acrylic panels are pressure-formed to hold a gentle curve — not flat, not angular, but with the slight drape of fabric held at one end. The aluminium arm beneath is finished in gold and acts as the spine, so the overall silhouette is light on the eye despite the fixture's size. The integrated LED runs behind each acrylic panel, invisible from below.

Frequently asked

Nava ships free worldwide — delivery is typically 15–21 business days. You will receive tracking once your order dispatches. If you need an expedited timeline, contact us before ordering.

Yes — the Wolvega is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box and includes a junction box for mounting. Professional installation by a certified electrician is strongly recommended, particularly for the 12-head version due to its weight and output.

The arms are aluminium finished in gold; the draped panels are pressure-formed acrylic. Both materials are lightweight relative to their size, which keeps the fixture manageable on a standard junction box.

The gold coat is applied over the aluminium and formulated to resist temperature cycling and UV fading under indoor conditions. It should hold its tone for many years without polishing or treatment.

No — the Wolvega uses integrated LEDs sealed into the fixture. They are rated for a very long service life, so replacement should not be needed for many years under normal use.

Wipe the acrylic panels and aluminium arms with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can scratch the acrylic surface. No other maintenance is needed under normal indoor conditions.

Yes — Nava includes a 1-year warranty with every Wolvega, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years on request. Contact us after purchase to add extended cover.

The Wolvega is designed for dry interior ceilings — living rooms, dining rooms, and entryways. It is not rated for bathroom or outdoor installation.

Yes, optionally — request dimming at checkout and we configure the driver before shipping. Specify wall-dimmer or remote-dimmer preference and we will advise on compatibility.

The 7-head version runs at 116W for 12,760 lm; the 12-head at 184W for 20,240 lm. Equivalent incandescent output would require roughly 5–6 times the wattage. The LEDs are integrated and long-life — no ongoing bulb cost.
