Aluminium frame with acrylic diffusers — aluminium for structural integrity and a lasting matte-black finish; acrylic to soften and spread the integrated LED output evenly along each bar.
Warm, diffused ambient light. The acrylic lenses distribute 26W of LED output across the bars, giving the area below a comfortable, even glow rather than a harsh downlight.
The LEDs are integrated into the fixture and are not user-replaceable. They are rated for long-term use, so replacement is unlikely to be needed for many years under normal use.

26W producing 2860 lm is efficient for a statement pendant of this scale — lower running costs than an equivalent halogen or incandescent source, with comparable or better light output.
