The Vaxholm is built from iron and frosted glass. The iron arm is finished in black, gold, or white; the frosted glass shade is moulded in one piece for a seamless, even surface that diffuses the G9 LED uniformly.
The Vaxholm mounts to the wall with the included brackets and hardwires to mains. All mounting hardware ships with the lamp. We recommend installation by a certified electrician.
Yes — the Vaxholm's classic frosted-glass-and-iron form reads well in period properties alongside original architectural details. Choose the gold finish to complement warm brass or aged fixtures nearby.
Three modes: warm white for an intimate, cosy atmosphere; cool white for a brighter, more functional light; and neutral white as a balanced middle ground. Switch between them via the light switch or on request with a compatible dimmer.
At 5W with a G9 LED, the Vaxholm is highly efficient — equivalent to 30–40W in halogen output. At 50,000 hours of rated LED life, it's an installation-and-forget solution.
The G9 LED bulb is rated for 50,000 hours — roughly 17 years at 8 hours a day. When it eventually dims, the G9 is a standard fitting widely available from any lighting or hardware supplier.
Yes — the Vaxholm ships with all mounting hardware included. No separate purchase required; attach to a standard wall junction box and wire to mains.
Yes — the Vaxholm's neutral frosted-glass form works in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and dining areas. The three colour modes adapt the light output to each room's function.
Yes — the Vaxholm hardwires directly to mains via the wall junction box. We recommend a certified electrician for the connection. It supports 90–260V AC, compatible with electrical standards worldwide.
The iron is powder-coated in the chosen finish — black, gold, or white — which resists chipping and fading under normal indoor conditions. Wipe occasionally with a dry cloth to keep it clean.
