Applied onceno upkeep after

The Vaeroy Wall Panel goes up without fuss and stays without maintenance. PVC is light enough to handle alone, flexible enough to follow an uneven or curved wall without gaps, and moisture-resistant so it doesn't swell, warp, or stain in bathrooms or kitchens. Cut to fit with standard scissors or a craft knife; fix with double-sided tape or panel adhesive. The surface wipes clean.
Why you'll love it
  • Flexible PVC — conforms to curved or uneven wall surfaces cleanly
  • Moisture-resistant — suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and humid rooms
  • No specialist tools required — cut with scissors or a craft knife
  • Fix with double-sided tape or adhesive — no drilling
  • Wipe-clean surface — maintains appearance with minimal effort
Details

Three ways to install, depending on your panel — nail gun, peel-and-stick, or glue-on. Pick the one that matches what you ordered.

Before you begin

  • Prep — walls should be clean, dry, and smooth; remove dust, grease, nails, and flaky paint
  • Layout — measure and mark your starting line with a level and pencil, and lay out panels on the floor first to visualize placement

What you'll need

  • Tape measure, level, pencil or chalk line
  • Utility knife or fine-tooth saw, clean cloth
  • Caulk gun (if using adhesive), rubber roller (for peel-and-stick), brad nail gun (for nail gun install)

Step by step

  1. Nail gun — for thicker or heavier panels like wood/MDF. Locate wall studs with a stud finder and mark them.
  2. Nail gun — start at the bottom corner and align your first panel to your guidelines.
  3. Nail gun — fasten into studs — nails every 12–16".
  4. Nail gun — fit remaining panels tightly together and continue fastening. Fill nail holes with wood filler or color-matched putty. Optionally, add caulk between panels for seamless joints. Leave a 1/8" gap at edges for expansion.
  5. Peel-and-stick — for lightweight panels with pre-applied adhesive. Wipe the wall clean of dust and grease and let it dry fully. Measure and draw a level starting line.
  6. Peel-and-stick — peel and place — remove the adhesive backing from the first panel, align carefully, and press onto the wall starting at one edge.
  7. Peel-and-stick — roll it flat — use a rubber roller to apply even pressure, then continue placing panels tightly against each other. Avoid repositioning — the adhesive is strongest on first contact.
  8. Glue-on — for panels without adhesive, like solid PVC, composite, or acoustic. Clean the wall surface thoroughly.
  9. Glue-on — apply adhesive in an "S" or zig-zag pattern on the back of the panel.
  10. Glue-on — press into place — align to your guide marks and press firmly against the wall. Use painter's tape to hold it if needed.
  11. Glue-on — repeat and finish — continue with remaining panels, keeping spacing even and level. Wipe away any adhesive squeeze-out with a damp cloth. Let adhesive cure 24–48 hours before applying pressure or weight.

How it's made

PVClightweight and surface-ready

The Vaeroy panel is extruded from high-grade PVC — the material that gives it its combination of lightness, flexibility, and resistance to moisture. The surface finish is consistent across the panel, with no visible joins at the manufacturing stage. It's designed to be cut on-site, which means minimal waste and no specialist equipment beyond a straight edge and cutting tool.

Frequently asked

High-grade PVC — a lightweight, moisture-resistant polymer that holds its shape and surface finish over time. No wood content, so it won't swell, crack, or warp in humid conditions like bathrooms or kitchens.

Thickness varies by panel variant — confirm the specific dimension at checkout. The panels are designed to sit flush against the wall without creating a significant step at edges or joins. Trim pieces are available to finish exposed panel edges.

Yes — the installation method is tape or adhesive, so there's no drilling, no fixings, and no specialist equipment. Measure, cut with scissors or a craft knife, peel-and-stick or apply adhesive, and press to the wall. Most people complete a room in a single session.

A straight edge, a cutting tool (scissors or craft knife), and double-sided tape or panel adhesive. That's it — no drill, no mitre saw, no specialist knowledge. For a clean finish at corners, a corner trim strip and a craft knife are recommended.

Yes — PVC is flexible by nature. The Vaeroy panel can conform to gentle curves and uneven surfaces without cracking or leaving visible gaps at the edges. For tighter curves, warm the panel slightly with a heat gun on low before pressing it into position.

PVC is one of the most durable surface materials for interior use — it resists impact, moisture, UV yellowing (in indirect light), and surface scratching. The panels are designed to outlast painted drywall in high-traffic or moisture-prone areas.

Yes — moisture resistance is a primary reason to choose PVC over timber or MDF panelling in these spaces. The panels won't swell or delaminate from steam or splashing. Ensure the adhesive or tape used is rated for damp environments for a secure long-term bond.

Wipe with a damp cloth — water and mild soap for any marks or residue. The smooth PVC surface doesn't absorb stains. Avoid abrasive pads or solvent-based cleaners, which can dull the finish over time. No sealing, painting, or periodic treatment required.

No — the Vaeroy is designed for self-installation. Even in larger rooms, the lightweight panels are manageable alone. If you're panelling a complex wall with many outlets, switches, or corners, a second pair of hands makes cutting to fit faster and neater.

The panels can be painted with a PVC-compatible primer and topcoat if you want a specific colour not available in the standard range. Sanding lightly before priming improves adhesion. Nava ships free worldwide in approximately 15–21 business days, with a 1-year warranty on manufacturing defects.
