The face disc is natural travertine or white cement, depending on your chosen colour. The surround ring is wood. Both materials are chosen for their organic warmth and tactile texture.
The stone face diffuses the GX53 LED before the light reaches the room — removing harshness and producing a warm, even glow more akin to candlelight than a standard recessed downlight.
Yes — it works well in hallways, kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms. Its neutral stone and wood materials integrate naturally into most interior palettes and styles.
Yes — the travertine and wood materials suit minimalist, Japandi, organic-modern, and Scandi interiors particularly well. The neutral tones do not compete with existing finishes.
Two body finishes are available: yellow travertine (brown) and white cement (beige). Each is also available in three LED colour temperatures — 3000K warm, 4000K neutral, and 6000K cool.
It is inspired by the wabi-sabi philosophy — an appreciation for natural imperfection and simplicity. The travertine's natural veining, the wood's grain, and the soft diffused glow all reflect that sensibility.

The Trarbach is a hardwired downlight that fits most standard recessed cut-outs (D12cm). A certified electrician should handle the mains connection; the fixture itself clips into place simply.
No — wipe the stone face occasionally with a dry cloth. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners on the travertine. The GX53 LED is replaceable when needed — any standard GX53 bulb fits.
