The Object

Halolight that rings, not floods

The Topaz Pendant Light is a small aluminium disc with an integrated LED that casts light as a ring — a defined halo below the fixture rather than a wide flood. Italian-made, 23 cm across, in glass diffuser with gold, black, or chrome frame. Sloped-ceiling compatible, cord adjusts to 20 cm.
Why you'll love it
  • Luminous halo ring effect — light defined as a ring, not a flood
  • Italian-made aluminium construction
  • Three finishes: gold, black, chrome
  • Integrated LED — no bulb to source or replace
  • Sloped-ceiling compatible — adjustable 20 cm cord
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the light

Ring effectthe lamp that lights itself as much as the table

The Topaz uses a glass diffuser around an integrated LED ring to project a circular halo below the fixture. The effect is architectural rather than simply functional — the lit ring is as much a visual detail as the table it illuminates. Three finish options let it read bold (chrome), warm (gold), or recessive (black).

Frequently asked

Aluminium for the body and frame, with a glass diffuser around the integrated LED ring. The Italian manufacturing process ensures precise tolerances and a clean, consistent finish across all three colour options.

The Topaz Pendant Light casts its light as a defined ring rather than a diffuse wash. The halo sits below the fixture and on the surface beneath it — adding a specific, architectural quality that a standard pendant does not.

The Topaz works well in living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, kitchens, and bar areas. At 23 cm and 550 lm, it is best as an accent or layered source rather than sole room lighting.

The Topaz Pendant Light hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box. The 20 cm cord is fixed. All mounting hardware is included; sloped-ceiling installation is supported with the included canopy.

Italian production means tighter tolerances on the aluminium housing — the ring diffuser sits at a consistent distance from the LED source, which is what creates the clean, defined halo rather than a blurred or uneven ring.

At 5W / 550 lm, the Topaz provides focused ambient and accent light rather than primary task lighting. Use it over a console, dining corner, or as part of a grouped ceiling composition.

The halo ring serves as both the light source and the visual detail — the fixture is doing two things at once. Unlit, the glass diffuser reads as a disc; lit, it becomes a defined ring of light suspended below the ceiling.

The Topaz suits contemporary, transitional, and industrial interiors particularly well. Chrome reads modern; gold reads warm and curated; black reads architectural. The halo effect is distinctive across all three.

Three finishes: gold, black, and chrome. All three share the same glass diffuser and aluminium body — the finish changes the tone of the frame visible above and beside the diffuser.

Yes — the integrated LED runs at 5W producing 550 lm. The LED is built into the fixture permanently, rated for long-term use without replacement.
