The Object

White face set in brassthe quiet detail

The Brantome Brass Plate in White with Brass takes the same individually patinated brass surround and pairs it with a white module face — the combination that reads most cleanly against pale walls, cream finishes, and minimal interiors. The white face makes the brass edge the point of interest rather than the module itself. Universal fit accepts most standard electrical modules; one plate per box.
Why you'll love it
  • 100% solid brass surround — individually patinated, no two alike
  • White module face sits cleanly on pale and cream-toned walls
  • Brass edge becomes the focal detail against a light background
  • Universal module fit — compatible with most standard fittings
  • Scratch and fade-resistant — retains character through daily use
Details

A quick face-lift, not a rewire — you're only swapping the cover plate, but we still have you flip the breaker as a precaution.

What's included

One solid brass wall plate. No electrical components included.

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — at your circuit breaker, even though you're only replacing the plate.
  2. Remove the existing plate — loosen and remove the screws, then lift it away from the wall.
  3. Inspect the underlying devices — confirm your dimmers, toggles, outlets, or other modules are secure and undamaged.
  4. Position the brass plate — align it over the existing devices so all openings fit cleanly around the controls.
  5. Insert the screws — use the included matching brass screws, threading gently to avoid stripping the holes.
  6. Don't overtighten — snug against the wall is enough; overtightening can damage the brass or the wall surface.
  7. Check the fit — the plate should sit flush, with all device cutouts aligned for easy access.
  8. Restore power — once everything is secure and properly positioned.
  9. Final polish — wipe the brass gently with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints or dust.

Cut and finished

Brass edge, white centrerestrained by design

The Brantome Brass Plate process begins with solid brass — no base metal, no plating over cheaper material. The individual patination step creates tonal variation in the surround before the white module face is fitted. The result is a wall plate that reads as a considered detail: white face, warm brass edge, against a light wall.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Solid brass

100% brass throughout — the surround holds its weight and warmth without any base-metal core.

Individual patina

Each plate is individually treated — the patina develops its own highlights and is part of the design.

Universal fit

Works with most standard electrical modules — a clean upgrade for any existing wall fitting.

Frequently asked

White with brass is the right choice when you want the brass detail to register without dominating — the white face recedes against a pale wall, leaving the brass edge as the considered accent.

Yes — The Brantome Brass Plate in White with Brass is designed specifically with light walls in mind. The white face blends into the wall while the brass surround provides a warm, defined edge.

The patinated brass surround holds its tone in bright conditions — the warm, textured finish catches the light and reads clearly even against a well-lit pale wall.

The Brantome Brass Plate is built from solid brass, which is corrosion-resistant. For humid environments, we recommend confirming the electrical module you're pairing with it meets the IP rating required for the room.

Both. The white face reads as contemporary and minimal; the patinated brass surround carries classic material warmth. The combination works across modern, Scandinavian, and transitional interior styles.

At distance, the white face creates a clean, low-profile look on a pale wall. The brass edge adds definition at closer range — it's meant to be noticed when you're at the wall, not to demand attention from across the room.

The white-and-brass combination pairs naturally with warm neutrals, natural wood, linen, and stone. It works alongside brushed gold hardware without competing, and complements polished chrome in transitional spaces.

Yes — the white face keeps the wall surface visually clean, while the brass surround provides the kind of quiet material detail that minimalist interiors benefit from without breaking the calm of the space.

The white module face may show marks more readily than darker finishes in high-traffic areas. Wipe with a damp cloth as needed. The brass surround is scratch-resistant and easy to maintain.

Choose white with brass on pale walls, in rooms where you want hardware to blend rather than contrast, or where you're pairing with cream, natural linen, or light stone finishes. Darker plates suit moody, dramatic palettes.
