The Tapio Tapio is built from aluminium and acrylic. The aluminium body handles heat and resists corrosion, while the acrylic diffuser softens the LED output into an even, glare-free wash.
The Tapio Tapio's integrated LED is rated past 50,000 hours — roughly 17 years at eight hours of daily use. Nothing to replace; the LED and fixture are designed as one unit.
It requires cutting the ceiling to the appropriate diameter, then hardwiring into the electrical box. The included driver connects to the power source. Nava recommends professional installation by a certified electrician.

The included driver connects between the mains supply and the downlight wiring. Cut the ceiling hole to the correct diameter, feed the cable through, and wire according to the included instructions. Professional installation recommended.
