The Sonar is hardwired, so connection to the electrical box is required. We recommend a certified electrician for the hardwired step — the mounting hardware and instructions are included.
The Sonar is built from an iron-reinforced acrylic ring with integrated LEDs sealed inside. The canopy and hardware are iron, finished in black, gold, or white.
The cord adjusts up to 1 m at the canopy — shorten or extend it at installation to suit your ceiling height and the effect you want.
No — the LEDs are integrated into the ring. They're rated for 50,000 hours of use, so in typical home use they'll outlast most other light sources in your home.
Wipe the ring with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid wet cloths or abrasive cleaners on the finish. The sealed LED means there's no internal cleaning needed.
