The Smelt Wall Lamp is built from aluminium and acrylic — an aluminium bar body with a full-length acrylic diffuser. The aluminium is corrosion-resistant, making it appropriate for bathroom humidity, and the acrylic spreads the LED output evenly.
The Smelt Wall Lamp uses an integrated LED drawing 9–17W depending on length, which is significantly less than equivalent halogen or incandescent output. At 50,000 hours of rated life, there are no replacement bulbs and no ongoing running cost.
