No — it includes mounting brackets and hangs like any framed picture. Plug into a standard wall socket and it's done. No electrician needed for the standard plug-in version.
Use the included mounting brackets — mark the wall, drill two holes, attach the brackets, and hang the panel. The process is the same as hanging a standard picture frame.
Any standard wall socket — the Shimmer runs at 90–260V, so it's compatible with most residential electrical systems globally without an adaptor.
Yes — aluminium alloy frame with a moisture-proof backplate. It won't rust or corrode under normal indoor conditions, and the finish holds its tone well over time.
The moisture-proof backplate offers some protection, but we recommend keeping it away from direct water spray. A bathroom with good ventilation and no direct shower exposure is fine.
Wipe the aluminium surface with a dry or very lightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or anything that could scratch the finish. The laser-cut cuts can be cleared with a soft brush.
