Black walnut brings a deeper, richer tone to the grain, reading as architecture after dark. Ash stays closer to the ceiling — lighter, warmer, more diffuse. Either way, the LED picks out the texture as it goes, the wood doing what wood does: softening everything.

Most pendants hang a single point. The Shaft stretches the full length of what's below — a single wooden beam suspended in near-perfect balance, light running its entire underside. Lit or unlit, it reads as a deliberate mark across the room.

It's a hardwired fixture — ceiling junction box and basic electrical work required. We recommend a certified electrician for the install; the hardware and instructions are included to make the process straightforward.
A solid wood beam — your choice of black walnut or ash — paired with an acrylic diffuser underneath and aluminium joining hardware for the 220 cm version. No composite fillers.
The two suspension cables adjust up to 2 m. Set the drop during installation to position the bar at the right height above your table or island — typically 70–80 cm above the surface.
Three built-in modes: warm white, neutral white, and cool white. Switch between them at the wall; no separate remote needed. All three are available across all three lengths.
