The Sangerhausen is made from natural travertine — a sedimentary stone with its own internal patterning of fossils, mineral variation, and tonal shifts. Each piece is unique. The stone is sourced for its translucence so that light passes through, not just off it.
The Sangerhausen mounts flush to the wall via the included hardware and connects to a mains electrical supply. All mounting components are provided. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician to ensure a safe connection and level placement.

For ambient wall lighting, we recommend mounting the Sangerhausen at around 150–170 cm from the floor — at or just above eye level. This positions the backlit stone glow where it interacts naturally with the room without creating glare.
