The Object

Stone in handbrass behind it

The Rituvik Knob puts a small piece of natural marble in your hand every time you open a drawer. The stone varies — grey, white, pink, or black — each with its own veining, paired with a solid brass fitting that keeps the whole thing grounded. Available as a T-knob or a pull bar in two lengths, it's the kind of detail that shifts how a kitchen or wardrobe reads.
Why you'll love it
  • Natural marble face — every piece carries its own grain
  • Solid brass fitting, weighted and built for daily use
  • Four stone colours: grey, white, pink, black
  • T-knob or pull bar in two hole-spacing options
  • Smooth grip, compatible with cabinets and drawers
Details

No wiring here — just careful measuring, drilling, and mounting. Mortice locks take a bit more patience than a simple knob.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — surface installation on doors, drawers, or cabinetry; check your product's dimensions for placement and drilling points

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver (Phillips and flathead), drill and drill bits, Allen key
  • Tape measure, pencil, level
  • Chisel (for mortice lock installation)
  • Screws and anchors, safety goggles

Step by step

  1. Cabinet hardware — mark drilling points — use a tape measure and pencil; a template helps for uniformity across multiple pieces.
  2. Cabinet hardware — drill holes — use a bit matched to the screw diameter, keeping the drill straight.
  3. Cabinet hardware — mount — insert screws from inside the cabinet or drawer, secure the hardware on the front face, and tighten without overtightening.
  4. Cabinet hardware — align and inspect — confirm straightness and spacing before fully securing.
  5. Thumb lock or dummy handle — confirm orientation — determine left- or right-hand door swing and adjust as needed.
  6. Thumb lock or dummy handle — mark installation height — typically 36–38 inches from the floor to the handle center; align the mounting plate.
  7. Thumb lock or dummy handle — drill and attach — drill pilot holes and secure the backplate and handle with the included screws. Dummy handles install directly, no latch mechanism.
  8. Thumb lock only — install the strike plate — mark the latch location on the door frame, chisel a recess if needed, and screw the strike plate in.
  9. Mortice lock — cut the mortice pocket — use a chisel and drill to create a cavity in the door edge, following the provided measurements.
  10. Mortice lock — insert the lock body — fit it into the cavity and attach through the faceplate with screws.
  11. Mortice lock — install the handle — align the spindle through the lock, attach handles on both sides, and tighten with a screwdriver or Allen key.
  12. Mortice lock — install the cylinder (if applicable) — insert the key cylinder and secure with the cylinder screw from the door edge.
  13. Mortice lock — mount the strike plate — align with the latch mechanism and secure to the door frame.

Good to know

  • Double-check measurements before drilling.
  • Use a level for consistent alignment across multiple units.
  • If you're unfamiliar with mortice installation, consult a locksmith or professional.
  • Make sure all moving parts operate smoothly before final tightening.
  • Dummy handles are decorative or pull-only — they don't engage latches or locks.

The material

Natural stonebrass fixed behind it

Each Rituvik Knob starts as a cut of natural marble — no two pieces have identical veining. The brass fitting is smooth and weighty, providing a solid counterpoint to the stone. Together they bring texture and warmth to cabinetry that painted or chrome hardware can't replicate.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three things that make the Rituvik worth the upgrade.
Natural stone

Each marble piece is unique — the grain and veining vary naturally between units.

Brass built

Solid brass fitting is weighted for comfort and engineered to last years of daily pulls.

Frequently asked

Yes — the Rituvik Knob's natural marble and brass materials complement period kitchens and bathrooms as naturally as they do contemporary ones. The smooth, understated form doesn't clash with traditional cabinetry profiles.

The Rituvik Knob is made from natural marble and solid brass — the stone face in grey, white, pink, or black, with a brass fitting that provides weight and a secure mount.

The Rituvik Knob is built for daily cabinet and drawer use. Solid brass resists corrosion and wear; natural marble is hard-wearing and holds its surface under normal handling.

Yes — the Rituvik Knob installs with a single through-bolt on the T-knob, or two bolts on the pull bars. Standard hardware included; no special tools required for most cabinets and drawers.

The Rituvik Knob has a smooth marble face and a grip profile designed for comfortable daily pulls — neither too small to grasp nor bulky enough to catch on adjacent drawers.

No special maintenance needed. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners on the marble. The brass fitting can be buffed lightly if needed, though it's finished to resist tarnish.

The Rituvik Knob comes in four marble colours — grey, white, pink, and black — each with its own natural grain. The brass fitting is consistent across all four.

Yes — the Rituvik Knob works on cabinet doors, drawer fronts, wardrobes, and cupboards alike. The T-knob and two pull-bar lengths cover most standard hole-spacing configurations.
