Blown glasscolour held in the wall

The Rhon Ceiling Light pairs a hand-blown glass shade with a wrought-iron ceiling mount in black or gold. Smokey or amber glass — each shade blown individually, so the colour depth and form vary slightly between pieces. Four shapes (A through D) run from a wide shallow dome to a tall cylinder; all share the same E26 socket and transitional voice that suits traditional and modern rooms equally.
Why you'll love it
  • Hand-blown glass — each shade individually formed
  • Smokey or amber glass for warm, diffused light
  • Black or gold wrought-iron mount
  • Four shapes: wide dome to tall cylinder
  • Replaceable E26 LED · 50,000-hour rated
Details

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

Good to know

  • Great for standard or low ceilings — hallways, bedrooms, closets.
  • Confirm your junction box can support the fixture's weight.
  • Follow local electrical codes.
  • When in doubt, bring in a licensed electrician.

The making

Mouth-blown glassform varies, warmth stays

Each Rhon ceiling light shade is blown by hand, which means the wall thickness and colour saturation differ slightly between pieces — the amber runs deeper in some, paler in others. This variation is part of the material's character, not a defect. The wrought-iron mount is cast and finished in black or gold; the combination of hand-made glass and solid iron gives the Rhon a presence in rooms that mass-produced fittings rarely achieve.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three things that make the Rhon a considered choice for any ceiling.
Hand-blown glass

Each shade is individually blown — slight variations in colour and form are expected.

Warm colour

Smokey or amber glass softens the LED into a warm, diffused room glow.

Wrought iron

Cast iron mount resists wear and holds its finish for the life of the fitting.

Frequently asked

The Rhon Ceiling Light uses hand-blown glass for the shade and wrought iron for the ceiling mount and canopy. Both are chosen for durability — wrought iron resists the elements over years of use; hand-blown glass carries a natural robustness from the blowing process.

The Rhon Ceiling Light mounts to a standard ceiling junction box via the included canopy and cord (up to 10 cm). Hardwired installation is required; we recommend a certified electrician for a clean, safe result.

Yes — each Rhon Ceiling Light shade is individually hand-blown. This means slight variations in the colour depth and wall thickness of the glass are expected and are characteristic of the hand-made process, not defects.

The Rhon Ceiling Light is available in two mount finishes — black and gold — each paired with either smokey or amber hand-blown glass. Four shape options (A through D) give a range of proportions to suit different rooms.

No — the Rhon Ceiling Light uses a replaceable E26 bulb, which is not included. An E26 LED of your preferred output and colour temperature is required before first use. E26 is a standard base, widely available.

The Rhon Ceiling Light is rated for 50,000 hours with a quality E26 LED — roughly 17 years at 8 hours of use per day. The replaceable socket means you can swap the bulb if needed rather than replacing the fitting.

Yes — the Rhon Ceiling Light's transitional style suits foyers, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, and living rooms. It is not rated for outdoor or high-humidity spaces; standard dry indoor rooms are the intended environment.

The Rhon is designed as a ceiling light but the source notes it can be wall-mounted with included brackets in some configurations. Contact the Nava Decor team before ordering if wall installation is your intent — we'll confirm compatibility for your chosen shape.

Yes — the wrought-iron mount's finish is applied to resist temperature variation and UV-related fading. The hand-blown glass colour is integral to the material, not a surface coating, so it does not fade with use or light exposure.

The Rhon's transitional character comes from pairing a hand-blown glass form (classic craft) with a minimal iron mount (modern restraint). The four shape options let you lean the fixture toward either register. Free worldwide shipping, typically 15–21 business days. 1-year warranty, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years.
