The Object

Rods outwardlight at every tip

The Reveal Chandelier radiates slim iron rods from a central hub, each one carrying a bulb at its tip. The rods intersect and overlap at different angles, so the silhouette is complex but the individual lines are clean. Light radiates in all directions without glare — the geometry does the diffusing. Black or gold finish, 2 to 8 heads, ceiling or semi-flush mount.
Why you'll love it
  • Intersecting iron rods — complex form built from simple lines
  • Light radiates in all directions — no glare, even distribution
  • Mid-century design sits in both classic and contemporary rooms
  • 2, 4, 6, or 8 heads — scale to the size of your room
  • Black or gold finish · ceiling or semi-flush mount
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The shape

Rods at anglesthe silhouette shifts by view

The Reveal Chandelier's rods extend at varying angles from the central hub so that the form looks different from every position in the room — a shifting, sculptural silhouette. The iron is finished in temperature and fade-resistant paint, in either matte black or a warm gold tone. Bulbs sit at the tip of each rod, unshaded — the rod geometry itself distributes the light.
