The Object

Arched ironglobes held at the tips

The Polder Chandelier sends slender iron arms curving outward, each one ending in an opal glass globe that glows rather than glares. The arc of the frame gives the piece a sense of motion even when still — a sculptural line overhead, lit from every end. Three sizes, three finishes: black, gold, or red, in any space that wants a centrepiece.
Why you'll love it
  • Opal glass globes diffuse the glow into warm, even light
  • Geometric iron frame reads as sculpture — lit or unlit
  • Three sizes to suit dining rooms, foyers, or living spaces
  • Replaceable G9 LEDs rated 50,000 hrs — nothing urgent to swap
  • Black, gold, or red finish — each shifts the character of the piece
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the form

Glass spheressuspended at the arc's end

Each opal glass globe sits at the outermost tip of a curved iron arm, catching light and diffusing it softly outward. The iron frame is finished by hand — a matte or metallic coat that resists temperature changes and fading over years. Proportions are balanced so the form reads light, not heavy, regardless of size.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Built to last and easy to live with.
Sculptural form

Curved iron arms hold opal globes in a geometric pattern that reads as art, not just a light fixture.

Warm diffusion

Opal glass softens each G9 LED into a glare-free, romantic glow across the whole room.

Three finishes

Black, gold, or red — each version carries a different character while keeping the same form.

Design statement

Lightset in motion before it turns on

The Polder's iron arms arc and curve so the form already feels like something caught mid-movement. When the opal globes light up, that sense of suspension becomes warmth — a soft, floating glow that fills the room from every direction.
