The Object

Waterproof surfaceno rust, no swell

The Orland Wall Panel is a PVC tile built for rooms where other materials fail — kitchens and bathrooms where moisture, steam, and splashes are the norm. The surface is waterproof and rustproof by material; no sealant needed, no annual maintenance. Cut to any size with scissors or a utility knife, fix with construction adhesive or double-sided tape, and wipe clean. The tile accepts both modern and traditional decors without competing with either.
Why you'll love it
  • Waterproof and rustproof — built for kitchens and bathrooms
  • Cuts cleanly with scissors or a utility knife
  • Adhesive installation — no drilling, no specialist tools
  • Stain-resistant surface wipes clean with a damp cloth
  • Made from recyclable PVC — durable and low-impact
Details

Three ways to install, depending on your panel — nail gun, peel-and-stick, or glue-on. Pick the one that matches what you ordered.

Before you begin

  • Prep — walls should be clean, dry, and smooth; remove dust, grease, nails, and flaky paint
  • Layout — measure and mark your starting line with a level and pencil, and lay out panels on the floor first to visualize placement

What you'll need

  • Tape measure, level, pencil or chalk line
  • Utility knife or fine-tooth saw, clean cloth
  • Caulk gun (if using adhesive), rubber roller (for peel-and-stick), brad nail gun (for nail gun install)

Step by step

  1. Nail gun — for thicker or heavier panels like wood/MDF. Locate wall studs with a stud finder and mark them.
  2. Nail gun — start at the bottom corner and align your first panel to your guidelines.
  3. Nail gun — fasten into studs — nails every 12–16".
  4. Nail gun — fit remaining panels tightly together and continue fastening. Fill nail holes with wood filler or color-matched putty. Optionally, add caulk between panels for seamless joints. Leave a 1/8" gap at edges for expansion.
  5. Peel-and-stick — for lightweight panels with pre-applied adhesive. Wipe the wall clean of dust and grease and let it dry fully. Measure and draw a level starting line.
  6. Peel-and-stick — peel and place — remove the adhesive backing from the first panel, align carefully, and press onto the wall starting at one edge.
  7. Peel-and-stick — roll it flat — use a rubber roller to apply even pressure, then continue placing panels tightly against each other. Avoid repositioning — the adhesive is strongest on first contact.
  8. Glue-on — for panels without adhesive, like solid PVC, composite, or acoustic. Clean the wall surface thoroughly.
  9. Glue-on — apply adhesive in an "S" or zig-zag pattern on the back of the panel.
  10. Glue-on — press into place — align to your guide marks and press firmly against the wall. Use painter's tape to hold it if needed.
  11. Glue-on — repeat and finish — continue with remaining panels, keeping spacing even and level. Wipe away any adhesive squeeze-out with a damp cloth. Let adhesive cure 24–48 hours before applying pressure or weight.

On the build

PVC surfacemoisture finds no way in

Unlike tile, composite, or painted plasterboard, PVC doesn't absorb water. The Orland panel is waterproof through its full cross-section — not just at the surface. That means bathroom steam, kitchen splashes, and accidental wet contact leave no mark, no stain, and no structural damage. The tile maintains its colour and profile for years without intervention.

Frequently asked

The Orland is made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) — a waterproof, rustproof, and mould-resistant plastic that's widely used in wet environments for its longevity and low maintenance.

Current tile dimensions are available on request — contact the Nava Decor team for the precise size per pack. Tiles can be cut down to any smaller dimension with scissors or a utility knife.

Use scissors for straight cuts along the main panel dimensions, or a utility knife and straight edge for precision trimming around outlets, pipes, and corners. No power tools are needed.

Apply construction adhesive to the back of the panel, press firmly to the wall surface, and hold for a few seconds. Double-sided tape works for temporary or lighter-duty applications. No drilling or specialist tools required.

Yes — the Orland is specifically built for kitchens, bathrooms, and other moisture-prone spaces. The PVC is waterproof and rustproof throughout the full panel thickness, not just at the surface.

Yes — PVC resists impact, stains, and daily contact better than painted surfaces or ceramic tile grout. The Orland holds its finish and structure in hallways, kitchens, and other heavily used spaces.

Yes — the available profiles and finishes are designed to complement modern, transitional, and traditional interiors without competing with the room's existing colour scheme or materials.

Pack quantity varies by tile size — contact the Nava Decor team with your wall dimensions and we'll advise how many packs you need, including waste allowance for cutting.

Not at all — the Orland is designed for DIY installation with no specialist skills. Cut to size, apply adhesive, press and hold. Most homeowners complete an average wall in a few hours working solo.

Very little. Wipe the Orland surface with a damp cloth for everyday cleaning. Avoid abrasive scourers which can dull the surface. No sealing, oiling, or periodic treatment is required — the panel maintains itself.
