The Muance Handle is available with a standard thumb lock (lockable from inside only) or an upgraded emergency-access lock (inside lock with outside emergency release).
The emergency-access version can be opened from outside with a coin or small tool inserted into the release slot — suitable for bathrooms and bedrooms where safety access may be needed.
Yes — the knurling is machined directly into the brass grip to add real traction, wet or dry. It is not decorative surface treatment; it improves hold under use.

Wipe the Muance Handle with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Solid brass develops a natural patina with use — this can be preserved or buffed back with brass polish if preferred.
Two finishes: polished brass and matte black. Both are applied after final machining and sealed for durability.
