The Mohair Pendant uses an iron frame for the structural rings and frosted acrylic for the shade panels. Iron carries the weight and holds the layers level; acrylic diffuses the LED sources evenly across each layer.
The Mohair uses integrated LEDs consuming 14–28W (depending on configuration), producing 1540–3080 lm. These are highly efficient relative to their light output — comparable to a 75–150W incandescent equivalent.
Yes — the cord adjusts up to 2 m below the ceiling canopy. This suits low dining rooms as well as double-height spaces; contact us if you need a longer custom drop.
The Mohair's integrated LEDs are rated at 50,000 hours — at 8 hours per day, that's over 17 years of use before replacement is needed.
Yes — the Mohair is hardwired and connects to a standard ceiling junction box. We recommend installation by a certified electrician, particularly for the larger and heavier 4-layer configurations.
