The Modal is a corded plug-in lamp — place it on any surface, plug into a standard socket, and it's ready. No tools, no installation, no electrician needed.
Natural alabaster marble is dense and durable — not fragile like glass. The Modal is heavy at 9kg, which keeps it stable on a surface, and the stone itself will not fade, discolour, or degrade over time.
Wipe the alabaster surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, which can affect the stone's surface. No polishing or sealing is required for indoor use.
An E27 LED bulb — one is included with the Modal. It's a standard fitting, so when a replacement is needed, any E27 LED from a hardware or lighting store will work.
The Modal is not pre-configured for dimming. If you fit a dimmable E27 LED bulb and connect the cord to a compatible inline or wall dimmer, dimming is achievable.

Yes — the E27 LED delivers 1500lm at just 15W, a fraction of the energy used by an equivalent incandescent or halogen source.
Not without changing the bulb. The included LED gives warm white light. Fitting a different colour-temperature E27 LED — cooler or warmer — will shift the overall glow through the stone.
