The frame is iron and aluminium; the shades are opal glass. Both are chosen for durability and for the quality of light each produces.

Wipe the iron frame with a dry cloth and clean the glass globes with a damp cloth — no solvents. The G9 LEDs are replaceable when they eventually dim.
