The Marl Downlight is ceiling-recessed and hardwired. The process involves cutting a 9 cm hole, wiring the driver, and securing the housing — straightforward for a certified electrician, who we recommend for safe completion.
The Marl Downlight body is die-cast aluminium — rigid, thermally efficient, and resistant to warping over its long operating life. Available in black, gold, or white to suit different ceiling finishes.
The Marl Downlight uses its die-cast aluminium body as a passive heat sink. The metal draws thermal energy away from the LED driver rapidly, keeping operating temperature stable and extending the 80,000-hour rated life.
CRI measures how accurately a light source renders colour compared to natural daylight (maximum 100). The Marl Downlight's CRI of >90 means colours — fabric, food, skin — all read close to how they look in sunlight, with minimal distortion.
