The Loja uses a G4 LED bulb. Note that the bulb is NOT included — you will need to source a G4 LED (5W, any colour temperature) before installation. G4 bulbs are widely available at hardware stores.
Yes — the Loja is controlled by a vintage-style pull chain attached to the frame. There is no wall-switch connection on the fixture itself. If you want wall-switch control, your electrician can wire the circuit accordingly.
The Loja is built from copper and glass. The circular frame is copper with a gold finish; the globe is white glass. Both materials are chosen for durability and the warm visual quality they contribute to the piece.
The Loja is designed for dry interior spaces. It is not rated for wet or damp environments. For a bathroom installation, consult a certified electrician to confirm whether the room's humidity levels fall within safe limits for a non-IP-rated fixture.
The copper frame is finished in gold to resist tarnishing under normal interior conditions. Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners or polish that can strip the surface coating.
The Loja is not dimmable. The pull chain provides on/off control only. To vary brightness, use a dimmable G4 LED bulb controlled via the circuit — consult your electrician about options.
Wipe the copper frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth. For the white glass globe, a damp microfibre cloth removes dust and fingerprints without scratching the surface. Avoid spray cleaners near the socket and wiring.
Yes — the Loja is hardwired. A certified electrician should make the mains connection and secure the fixture to the wall. Once installed, the pull chain controls operation with no further electrical work needed.
