The Lappwald Chandelier uses iron for the structural frame, finished in gold, and glass for the twelve hexagonal prism shades. The iron provides rigidity at the frame; the glass prisms do the optical work of distributing the G9 LED light across the room.
The Lappwald Chandelier is pipe-erected and mounts to a standard ceiling junction box. It can also be wall-mounted with the included brackets. We recommend professional installation by a certified electrician for safe connection and correct levelling.
Yes — the Lappwald Chandelier comes with up to 1 m of adjustable cord. Your electrician can set the drop during installation to suit your ceiling height and the space below the fixture.
The Lappwald Chandelier uses LED G9 bulbs with a rated life of 50,000 hours. At 6 hours of daily use, that's over 22 years before a replacement is needed. Bulbs are included and widely available when the time comes.
The Lappwald Chandelier can be ceiling-mounted to a standard junction box, or wall-mounted using the included brackets. Both methods are covered in the installation guide. For ceiling use, confirm your junction box can carry the 3 kg weight.

Yes — the Lappwald Chandelier ships with all mounting hardware included, covering both ceiling and wall installation. G9 LED bulbs are also included, so the fixture is ready to connect and use.

The Lappwald uses hexagonal glass prisms rather than conventional shades. Each prism refracts the G9 LED light outward in multiple directions — producing a warmer, more distributed room glow than a standard chandelier, which typically concentrates light downward in a single cone.
The Lappwald Chandelier connects to your standard wall switch via hardwiring. Once installed by your electrician, it operates from your existing light switch. It's not dimmable as standard — if you need dimming, contact us before ordering and we'll advise on options.
