The Object

Gripdefined by a gold line

The Kullerup is machined aluminium in matte black with a gold accent that runs the full length of the grip face. The contrast is sharp without being decorative — the gold line marks where your hand goes, and the aluminium body holds steady under daily use. Five lengths from 11.5 cm to 60 cm fit everything from a single kitchen drawer to a full wardrobe panel pull. Three finish combinations: black and gold, all gold, or grey.
Why you'll love it
  • Two-tone black and gold aluminium — sharp contrast, not ornamental
  • Ergonomic pull profile sized for a full-finger grip
  • Five lengths: 11.5 cm to 60 cm for any drawer or door
  • Three finishes: black and gold, gold, grey
  • Durable aluminium built to resist daily wear
Details

No wiring here — just careful measuring, drilling, and mounting. Mortice locks take a bit more patience than a simple knob.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — surface installation on doors, drawers, or cabinetry; check your product's dimensions for placement and drilling points

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver (Phillips and flathead), drill and drill bits, Allen key
  • Tape measure, pencil, level
  • Chisel (for mortice lock installation)
  • Screws and anchors, safety goggles

Step by step

  1. Cabinet hardware — mark drilling points — use a tape measure and pencil; a template helps for uniformity across multiple pieces.
  2. Cabinet hardware — drill holes — use a bit matched to the screw diameter, keeping the drill straight.
  3. Cabinet hardware — mount — insert screws from inside the cabinet or drawer, secure the hardware on the front face, and tighten without overtightening.
  4. Cabinet hardware — align and inspect — confirm straightness and spacing before fully securing.
  5. Thumb lock or dummy handle — confirm orientation — determine left- or right-hand door swing and adjust as needed.
  6. Thumb lock or dummy handle — mark installation height — typically 36–38 inches from the floor to the handle center; align the mounting plate.
  7. Thumb lock or dummy handle — drill and attach — drill pilot holes and secure the backplate and handle with the included screws. Dummy handles install directly, no latch mechanism.
  8. Thumb lock only — install the strike plate — mark the latch location on the door frame, chisel a recess if needed, and screw the strike plate in.
  9. Mortice lock — cut the mortice pocket — use a chisel and drill to create a cavity in the door edge, following the provided measurements.
  10. Mortice lock — insert the lock body — fit it into the cavity and attach through the faceplate with screws.
  11. Mortice lock — install the handle — align the spindle through the lock, attach handles on both sides, and tighten with a screwdriver or Allen key.
  12. Mortice lock — install the cylinder (if applicable) — insert the key cylinder and secure with the cylinder screw from the door edge.
  13. Mortice lock — mount the strike plate — align with the latch mechanism and secure to the door frame.

Good to know

  • Double-check measurements before drilling.
  • Use a level for consistent alignment across multiple units.
  • If you're unfamiliar with mortice installation, consult a locksmith or professional.
  • Make sure all moving parts operate smoothly before final tightening.
  • Dummy handles are decorative or pull-only — they don't engage latches or locks.

On the detail

Gold accentthe grip reveals itself

The Kullerup uses two anodised finishes on the same aluminium extrusion: the back face and edges are matte black; the grip-facing surface is gold. The effect is subtle at distance — a slim bar on the cabinet face — and visible up close as a precise two-tone detail. At 60 cm, the longest length provides a full palm-width grip for tall wardrobe panels or wide kitchen drawers.

Frequently asked

Solid aluminium, anodised in two finishes. The two-tone versions (black and gold) use separate anodising treatments on the same extrusion — not a paint or plating process that could peel or chip with use.

Contemporary and industrial — a clean, linear profile with a deliberate two-tone accent. It suits modern kitchens, minimalist wardrobes, and home offices with flat-panel or handleless cabinet styles.

Cupboards, cabinets, kitchen drawers, and wardrobes. The 11.5 cm–20.1 cm lengths suit standard drawer fronts; the 33.8 cm and 60 cm lengths are designed for tall wardrobe doors or wide panel drawers.

Yes — the matte black version with gold accent is a natural fit for industrial and contemporary loft interiors. The all-grey version leans more architectural; gold-only is warmer and suits transitional schemes.

Yes — the pull profile is shaped for a comfortable full-finger grip with enough surface area at all five lengths. The 2.2 cm height keeps the bar slim against the cabinet face while still providing a confident hold.

The two-tone anodising — black body, gold grip face — is a precision detail that most budget hardware doesn't do in a single extrusion. Combined with five lengths, it works as a complete hardware system across an entire kitchen or wardrobe.

Yes — standard through-bolt installation with the included hardware. Mark hole centres using the hole-spacing dimensions, drill, pass the bolt through the cabinet face, and tighten. Most installations take five minutes per pull.

Yes — the anodised aluminium construction and ergonomic profile suit commercial kitchens, retail fit-outs, and office furniture. For large commercial orders, contact the Nava team to confirm stock lead times.

Yes — anodised aluminium is one of the most wear-resistant finishes for cabinet hardware. The surface won't peel, crack, or tarnish under normal daily use, and it holds its colour under hand oils and mild household cleaners.

Five lengths: 11.5 cm, 14.6 cm, 20.1 cm, 33.8 cm, and 60 cm. Hole spacing scales with each size (9.6 cm to 58 cm). Check the specs above to match the hole spacing to your existing drilling pattern if you're replacing current hardware.
