Globe shadescurved arms in brass and wood

The Kollemorten combines brass arms with a wood centre, each arm curving outward to hold a globe glass shade. The glass diffuses the E26 LED into a soft, even glow — comfortable to sit under, warm to look at. Three configurations from 3 to 8 heads; two finish options (wood and walnut) keep it sitting quietly in the room rather than demanding attention.
Why you'll love it
  • Globe glass shades diffuse light evenly — no glare
  • Curved brass arms on a wood or walnut centre
  • Three configurations: 3, 6, or 8 heads
  • Replaceable E26 LED bulbs included
  • Dimmable on request · adjustable cord to 60 cm
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the build

Curved brass armsglobe glass at each tip

Each arm curves away from the wood centre in a single sweep before settling into a downward drop that holds the globe shade. Brass and wood together give warmth without weight — the fixture reads more like furniture than a statement light. The globe shades are clear enough to show the bulb shape while rounding off any harshness.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Soft diffusion

Globe glass shades scatter the LED evenly — a warm, comfortable wash across the room.

Warm materials

Brass arms meet a wood or walnut centre — the combination reads warm and settled, not industrial.

Scale to the room

Three heads for a breakfast nook; eight for a large dining room — same design language throughout.

Frequently asked

Brass arms, a wood or walnut centre, and globe-shaped glass shades. All three materials are chosen to sit together warmly — the combination leans toward natural rather than industrial.

Three: 3 heads (D72 cm), 6 heads (D72 cm), or 8 heads (D92 cm). All share the same curved-arm design; the 8-head version is proportionally wider to keep the arms from crowding.

Yes, on request — specify dimming when you order. The E26 bulbs are compatible with most standard dimmers once the fixture is configured for it.

90–260V, so it works across most global electrical standards without an adapter or converter.

Replaceable E26 LED bulbs — one per head, included. Standard base makes them easy to swap; any E26-compatible LED works as a replacement.

3, 6, or 8 — one per head depending on the configuration you choose. The 6-head version outputs 90W (9,000 lm); the 8-head outputs 120W (12,000 lm).

The arms are brass; the centre is available in wood or walnut finish, with cream-toned globe shades. The combination is warm and consistent across all three finish elements.

Dining rooms, living spaces, and entryways — anywhere you want a centrepiece that gives even ambient light without leaning too contemporary or too traditional.

Yes — the E26 base is a standard fitting, so replacement bulbs are widely available. You're not locked into a proprietary source.

Yes — installation guide is included. The fixture is pipe-erected and hardwired; we recommend a certified electrician for the ceiling connection and final levelling.
