The surface is a high-fidelity mould from natural rock, so the depth, ridges, and random variation all read as genuine. The main difference is weight — real stone requires structural wall support; the Karmoy panels do not.
Yes — panels bond directly to the wall with construction adhesive. No specialist fixings or tools required. Panels can be cut to length with a standard saw, making awkward corners and partial panels straightforward.
Most indoor rooms, yes. They work well in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, and offices. For high-moisture environments like wet-zone bathrooms, use a waterproof adhesive and seal the edges.
Wipe with a damp cloth — the polyurethane surface doesn't absorb dust or moisture. No sealing, painting, or specialist cleaning products are needed under normal indoor conditions.
Polyurethane is impact-resistant and holds its shape well over time. The finish won't chip or flake in the way painted MDF or plaster reliefs can. For wall areas subject to direct impact, edge panels with a hard trim for added protection.
The material itself is moisture-resistant, but installation in shower or splash-zone areas requires a waterproof adhesive and sealed panel edges. For fully wet areas, consult a contractor before installing.
No — panels are bonded with standard construction adhesive and cut with a handsaw or utility knife. A spirit level and measuring tape are the only essentials. Professional installation is recommended for large feature walls.
They can be removed by scoring the adhesive bond — though some surface repair to the underlying wall is typically needed. Adhesive-bonded panels are not designed for easy relocation; treat them as semi-permanent.
