A magnet in the head of the door stop engages with a strike plate on the door. When the door swings into contact, the magnet holds it in position. Push the door back slightly and it releases cleanly without a tug.
Yes — by holding the door at a set position, the Jenle keeps the handle from reaching the wall. It's a simpler solution than a rubber bumper and far more effective than leaving the door to swing freely.
It suits most standard interior doors — hinged wood, hollow-core, and solid doors all work with the magnetic catch. It's designed for interior residential and commercial use; not recommended for exterior or fire-rated doors.
The Jenle mounts to the wall, not the floor, so the surface type beneath doesn't affect it. Wall mounting means it's also out of the path of vacuum cleaners and foot traffic.
Mount the body to the wall at the right height to catch your door. The strike plate attaches to the door face. All hardware is included; a basic drill and screwdriver are all you need. Professional installation is available on request.
