The housing and trim ring are aluminium; the diffuser face is acrylic. Both are lightweight, heat-tolerant, and finished to hold their colour over the LED's long lifespan.
Very — 10W, 15W, or 25W depending on size, compared to 60–100W equivalent incandescent output. The 50,000-hour LED life also eliminates the energy and cost of frequent bulb replacement.
The integrated LED is rated for 50,000+ hours — at 8 hours a day, that's over 17 years of continuous use before you'd consider replacement.
Cut a hole in the ceiling to the specified diameter, insert the downlight, and connect it to the driver and mains circuit. Sloped ceilings are compatible. We recommend a certified electrician for all hardwired installations.
