No — the tiles are designed for DIY install using construction adhesive or double-sided tape on a clean, flat wall surface. No drilling or wet trades required.
Any clean, dry, flat wall surface — plasterboard, tile, painted concrete, and most smooth substrates. Ensure the surface is free of dust and grease before applying.
Yes — fully waterproof. The PVC construction does not absorb moisture, making the IJzendijke safe for direct use as a kitchen splashback or bathroom wall panel.
Yes — the PVC surface is non-porous and mold-resistant. In properly ventilated bathrooms and kitchens, the panels will not develop surface mold under normal conditions.
Wipe with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. No sealant, painting, or periodic treatment is required — the surface is durable and stain-resistant.
This depends on the adhesive used and the wall substrate. Double-sided tape is more removable than construction adhesive. Test on a small area first if you plan to remove them later.
