The Hvidesande is wall-mounted — it contacts the door from the wall side, not from the floor. This makes it suitable for all floor types without risk of sliding or scratching.
Yes if adhesive-mounted — remove cleanly from the wall with a flat tool. Screw-mounted versions leave small holes that can be filled. Both options leave the door stop itself fully intact for reinstallation.

It's designed for interior doors. Brass is naturally rust-resistant, but prolonged outdoor exposure — rain, UV, extreme temperature changes — can affect the rubber tip and the finish over time.
